Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting or operations strategy, in the technology sector.
  • Experience executing and managing partnerships and negotiating agreements at scale.
  • Experience in Greater China markets.
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese fluently to support partner relationship management and partnerships in the Greater China region.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

Knowledge and Information (K&I) Partnerships are the Product Partnership teams for APAC.

The Research and Core Partnerships team supports all APAC partnerships for the global product area of research, Deepmind and core. We empower and enable project teams by understanding their mission, identifying partners, initiating relationships, negotiating agreements and serving as a strategic advisor to advance the product area objectives, including the launch of new models. We also work with the Government Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) and Country teams to ensure that the region is recognized and opportunities to work together are realized. We work with the Global Data Acquisition teams in Deepmind and Research and Core Partnerships team and also several cross-product areas and with cross-functional stakeholders. We have presence across key sites like India, Japan, South Korea and Singapore

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the key players, and emerging trends across Greater China. Be a go-to expert for Greater China within the team.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partners across APAC, with a focus on coding and agentic domains. Build and manage a APAC pipeline aligned with Deepmind strategic priorities.
  • Lead end-to-end negotiation of multiple partnership agreements, navigating intricate commercial terms, usage rights, data specifications, and legal/ethical compliance considerations. Drive agreements through internal review processes with precision and speed.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure seamless agreement execution.
  • Adhere to and actively contribute to refining the team's operational processes, ensuring efficient agreement advancement, accurate pipeline management (e.g., Salesforce), and continuous improvement.
