Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, specifically involving storage or hardware architecture.
- Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience in designing, reviewing, and rolling out schema changes or data layer updates in a production environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures, algorithms, and query optimization for high-scale databases.
- Experience developing Generative AI Agentic solutions, Large Language Model integrations, or accessible technologies to improve data exploration and developer productivity.
- Experience with distributed storage engines (e.g., Spanner, F1, or Napa) and large-scale online analytical processing (OLAP) environments.
- Experience collaborating with product management and UI/UX to drive the technical direction of infrastructure-focused AI tools.

- Write high-quality product or system development code to manage large-scale data infrastructure and large language model-based Agentic solutions for the Ads business.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies for schema management and AI-driven data exploration.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices in style, accuracy, testability, and efficiency within the storage infrastructure.
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback regarding the agentic solution.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
