Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in embedded software development (e.g., low-level software, firmware).
- Experience in the development of factory validation software (FVS).
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience managing the development and integration of high-performance Audio and Video (A/V) processing pipelines for consumer electronics or specialized hardware.
- Experience managing strategic vendors and partners, including aligning roadmaps, managing technical dependencies, and negotiating delivery milestones.
- Experience in bridging gaps between engineering disciplines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Bring software development to the Beam hardware organization and lead software release processes, timelines, and deadlines.
- Drive clarity, understanding, and ownership on interdependent software feature development that requires coordination between hardware and software teams.
- Own the management of OS and library software development, coordinating with engineering, and other cross-functional leads to ensure a stable code.
- Manage factory software release and validation, working with external partners, factory leads and system technical program managers.
- Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs.
