Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
- Experience building consumer facing software products.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- Experience in software development or engineering, with a strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to collaborate with development teams.
- Understanding of user perspectives for novel AI products, proactively identifying pain points, and translating nuanced user insights into refined and intuitive AI-powered user experiences.
- Understanding of constrained systems from memory and power perspective, with demonstrated engagement in trade-off product spaces in these areas.
- Ability to independently lead product initiatives forward in ambiguous and rapidly evolving spaces.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
In this role, you will help define the overall space and experiences for wearables and influence the broader experiences across the ecosystem.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define and lead a clear product direction, road-map, and strategic plan for on-device AI experiences, effectively integrating emerging AI technologies and ensuring alignment with organizational mission and evolving user needs.
- Develop and prioritize product requirements by synthesizing user feedback, UX research, market trends, and competitive analysis, proactively clarifying ambiguities and working to align experiences to also leverage the broader capabilities of the Pixel phone and wearables ecosystem of products.
- Own and drive go-to-market strategies to highlight the new capabilities of the device, spanning on-device user experiences as well as ecosystem enablements, and unique/bespoke AI model implementations.
- Maintain technical knowledge in the ever evolving AI space and drive rapid prototyping cycles, gathering targeted user feedback to iteratively refine AI products and swiftly respond to technical breakthroughs.
