Platforms Marketing Manager, YouTube Marketing APAC

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in marketing, with experience in product management, management consulting, or equivalent project management experience in technology.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with vendor teams and managing relationships with multiple vendors across the region to ensure performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management frameworks and solution-oriented approach to identifying and implementing process improvements to deliver operational excellence.
  • Ability to identify and leverage new trends in the digital space, along with ability to learn and adapt to new marketing technologies and platforms.
  • Passion for the web video/YouTube ecosystem and digital culture, within an international Business-to-Consumer (B2C) business.

About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the positioning of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Responsibilities

  • Project Manage Multi-Channel Campaign Execution. Lead and streamline the entire campaign enablement process, ensuring seamless execution across various media platforms across Regional and Country marketing teams.
  • Advocate Usage Policies and Foster Innovation. Serve as the authority on usage policies, promoting their understanding and adoption to unlock new creative formats and campaign opportunities.
  • Oversee Campaign Approval and Risk Mitigation. Manage the campaign approval process, collaborating with cross-functional teams and addressing potential risks to ensure timely launch.
  • Implement and Evaluate New Platform Features. Test and deploy new platform functionalities across campaigns, gathering and sharing feedback with global and regional teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate the adoption and implementation of new marketing technologies or platform updates across the region, working in conjunction with the Global Platforms team.
