Test Engineering Manager, Pixel Software Test

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
  • Experience in managing a team, leading testing activities and engagement with cross-functional teams to build design and project direction.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and data analytical tools.
  • Knowledge in mobile testing.
  • Knowledge of Android development.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute and lead software testing efforts from planning, execution and delivery that solve or address the business objectives.
  • Lead or deliver strategy for product excellence.
  • Empower team's ability to identify defects and develop or adapt the infra/tools for productivity.
  • Guide and analyze systems to surface root causes, identify patterns that lead to solutions for applications.
  • Collaborate with teams across Google, working with various cultures, job functions, and backgrounds.
