Managing Director, Google Cloud Security, Strategy and Operations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in Product/GTM Operations, Strategy Consulting or Corporate Strategy Leadership.
  • 10 years of experience in managing cross-functional strategy and operations projects (e.g., planning, new product launch, GTM plans) from inception to deployment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the enterprise space supporting rapid growth (mid to large companies).
  • Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives, including exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with strong business acumen.
  • Understanding of customer requirements and translating customer requirements to the broader organization.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a cross-functional environment, build relationships, and influence managers.
  • Ability to aggregate, reconcile, and manage requirements and guiding principles to create a traceability matrix relative to budgets, roadmaps, and timelines.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, and track record of communicating a vision and roadmap along with the resourcing needs to achieve it.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $291,000-$419,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive a 3-5 year strategic plan including market opportunity, segmentation, compete, product vision/strategy, Go-To-Market (GTM) model, business plan. Create strategy and specified goals/plans for organization: market context/opportunity, solution overview, customers segments and benefits, strategic roadmap, competitive assessment, GTM model, risks/dependencies. 
  • Manage ProdOps function, overseeing execution of product area-level initiatives and translating technical issues needing immediate resolution (via escalations or letting it run its course of action).
  • Lead operating cadence and business rhythm for CloudSec, including financial and HC planning, OKRs, etc. Set product area-wide north star metrics and provide analytics, metrics, data and insights (platform+services) to help teams make data-driven decisions. 
  • Drive both organic and inorganic strategies, including leading critical projects based on emergent business needs, including M&A process and integration efforts.
