Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development.
- 7 years of experience in Consumer and Market Insights, and Media Measurement.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience driving work separately working cross-functionally to influence priorities.
- Ability to work with data to derive insights.
- Ability to articulate data into stories that resonate at scale across verticals.
- Ability to work with partner teams in an effective way.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.

In this role you will oversee 2 of Consumer Goods and Entertainment verticals as the strategy and insights lead Government and Advocacy and Tech CE. You will craft narratives, and bolster thought leadership by anchoring on critical business objectives and collaborating at scale to amplify impact. You will manage research alongside our Research Lead and Marketing teams, derive actionable insights from diverse sources, and help manage our thought leadership efforts to ensure Google has a unique and compelling stance internally, and externally.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000-$203,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Analyze third-party data to develop industry, consumer, and engaged views/narratives with business and marketing implications to accelerate client growth-in partnership with other teams.
- Support the team’s Research Lead in development of vertical-focused primary research studies. Craft narratives leveraging the research to unlock new growth opportunities for clients.
- Own development of keynotes for industry events, conferences and key business narratives. Lead cohesion throughout event content to help the client think.
- Partner with Government and Advocacy and Tech vertical leadership to ensure their go-to-market perspective positions them as trusted thought leaders across the industry.
- Develop and deliver the vertical's annual thought leadership strategy, including effective prioritization around impact initiatives.
