Group Product Manager, Google Cloud Security

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing day-to-day tactical decision, technical and design direction
  • Experience working in enterprise, cloud, and cybersecurity product areas.
  • Experience with Identity, Access management, Security or privacy.
  • Experience with enterprise products, infrastructure, and systems.
  • Understanding of the cloud ecosystem, markets, and competition in depth.

As a Group Product Manager with Google Cloud Security, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of high-performing product managers. The team is on point for delivering innovation in the CRM, IAM, OSS, and Insider Risk areas. By partnering closely with the cross-functional teams, you'll define and deliver a compelling roadmap for the next phase of cloud security offerings and lead through the execution cycle. Additionally, you will develop product solutions, strategy and direction to execute on the market potential and benefits possible from applying Google’s security capabilities to the enterprise market.

Responsibilities

  • Set short and long-term strategies with far reaching impact for the Google Cloud Security product team.
  • Set up and try out enterprise cloud and security products, to better understand and arrive at opportunity areas.
  • Generate high level insights from formative research, market gaps or cutting edge technical insights to arrive at product requirements in the Identity, Access Management, and OSS space.
  • Understand technologies and customer use cases to arrive at insights for driving world-class customer experience with Google cloud products.
  • Understand needs, and pain points in the hybrid cloud space to influence technical priorities and business strategy.
