Delivery Manager, Cyber Security, Mandiant

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.
  • 8 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s degree with emphasis on Information Security, Information Technology, or Operations Management.
  • Certifications in Agile, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification.
  • 10 years of experience managing projects and customer relationships while working cross-functionally in a large organization.
  • 5 years of experience working with Information Security, infrastructure, software, or platforms, with 2 years of cloud services experience.

About the job

As a Delivery Manager, you will lead and support projects on behalf of clients that assess, test, or build their security programs. Project teams may range from 2 to 5 colleagues. Clients will range from start-up companies looking to supplement their security team to Fortune 100 companies that need fresh ideas to enhance their perspective on the security program. You will provide guidance and give advice on best practices and managing the risks for their security program.

In this role, you will identify and mitigate application security risks and will evaluate critical organizational assets to identify vulnerabilities and risks, ensuring protection against cyber threats. You will be partnering with the Incident Response (IR team), and help clients recover quickly from cyber incidents and build resilience. You will utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance security operations by assessing current states, conducting workshops to identify optimal AI applications, and assisting in proof-of-value development and will also guide clients in transforming their cybersecurity programs to align with best practices and business goals.Part of Google Cloud, Mandiant is a recognized leader in dynamic cyber defense, threat intelligence and incident response services. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $164,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, multi-disciplinary security programs or projects from proposal to completion, working with internal and client stakeholders to plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders spanning Executive to Individual Contributor.
  • Manage projects that often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres.
  • Define engagement delivery approach as part of the client proposal phase and staff teams to deliver on client engagements.
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company.
