Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience contributing to product, engineering, or research teams in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Ability to explain technical topics.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Contribute significantly to the strategic goal for the Hybrid and On-premises Infrastructure business by assisting in defining and delivering architecture and roadmap initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product and Go-to-Market leaders to implement strategies for our migrate, modernize, and workload efforts.
- Work with peer engineers and managers within Google teams and external partners to influence product and team direction.
- Partner with internal cross-functional organizations and external vendors and partners.
- Contribute to customer advocacy by understanding user needs and helping to deliver solutions that delight and empower users.
