Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in program or project management in a technology or operations environment.
- Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma, PMP or Six Sigma.
- Experience with cross-functional engineering, sales, and product teams in large tech or a related field.
- Experience with operational improvement, and implementing AI/ML or automation solutions within an operational environment.
- Experience developing technical/operational strategies and translating them into actionable program/project plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence leadership and cross-functional partners without direct authority.

Our Trust and Safety team has the critical responsibility of protecting Google's users by ensuring online safety through web abuse deterrence and fraud fighting across Google products like Search, Maps, AdSense, Play, and Chrome Web Stores. In Trust and Safety Compute, our goal is to build the world's most trusted and vibrant app ecosystem by prioritizing operational excellence, user safety, and developer success.
Within Compute, the Operational Excellence team deploys structured operational systems that maximize excellence, predictability, transparency, and speed by leveraging central analytics, data-driven decision making, and standardized process design that are resilient in an AI first future. It’s our goal to be the indispensable engine driving frictionless operations that power an AI-first Trust and Safety Compute. We lead with and establish collaborative ties across stakeholders to drive operational excellence, maximize efficiency, and deliver exceptional solutions enabling business success.
As a Program Manager, you will redefine and deploy the workforce strategy of the future with our Vendor Operations team. You will mobilize cross-functional teams, deliver solutions for the future, and drive data-driven decision making to deliver a sustainable program that supports and accelerates the workforce transformation. You will leverage excellent organizational, communication, and people management skills to establish trust and influence a broad set of stakeholders and partners. You bring leadership and experience managing programs across disciplines to produce timely results.
Responsibilities
- Lead the goal and strategic direction for the transformation program, collaborating with cross-functional leads and stakeholders to define clear goals and objectives.
- Oversee the planning and execution of program initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to establish goals, schedules, and milestones.
- Identify and resolve dependencies and execution challenges, ensuring executives and stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and issues.
- Foster strong relationships between cross-functional teams and manage communication of program status with executive stakeholders across various functions and time zones.
- Utilize your expertise, program management experience, and leadership to enhance processes, accelerate program delivery, and maintain high quality standards.
