Marketing Research and Insights Manager, B2B Marketing (English, Spanish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a research or quantitative field (e.g., Social Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Economics, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience with designing, scoping, executing, and delivering research and analysis projects in marketing, research and insights fields (e.g., consulting, research, consumer or B2B marketing insights).
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams.
  • Experience supporting or managing research and measurement agencies.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience independently identifying and leveraging credible data sources.
  • Experience extracting data from databases in order to generate insights.
  • Experience in desk research and social media research.
  • Knowledge of programming to build simple dashboards.
  • Ability to produce high-quality, forward content independently.

About the job

As a Marketing Insights Manager at Google, you develop and implement research studies that provide foundational learning to inform business/product strategy, product development, as well as insights/measurement to inform and measure GTM (go-to-market) strategy and campaigns. You understand consumers, and have the ability to link insights to strategy and translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive communications. You are also a thought leader who is curious and passionate about data. You know how to get the best out of vendors/agencies and you manage workload by balancing future logistical and strategic needs.

As a Marketing Research and Insights Manager, you will play a crucial role in data-driven decision making within our Latin America business. You will be a key advisor to business leaders across various Latin America markets, leveraging your expertise in research methodologies, data analysis, and strategic thinking to uncover actionable insights that fuel business growth and optimize marketing effectiveness.

In this role, you will address assumptions, ask insightful questions, and connect the dots between data points and drive strategic decision-making. You will possess a deep understanding of the LATAM B2B Ads market, including emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and customer behaviors. Leveraging analytical expertise, you will transform data into action, extracting meaningful insights and translating them into actionable recommendations to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute research studies, analyze data, and identify trends to uncover customer, market, and competitive insights.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, understand their needs, and effectively communicate research findings.
  • Identify new market opportunities, competitive threats, and present recommendations to business leaders.
  • Lead projects from end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery.
