Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory experience, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working cross-functionally and managing relationships with client and stakeholder executives.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment environment.
  • Experience planning and managing at the strategic and operational level.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with multiple diverse stakeholders across businesses, leadership, and teams.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Product Operations team sits within the Global Sales Activation (GSA) team, and is responsible for leading sales tools strategy across business operations, governance, legal compliance, sales enablement, and measurement and analytics. GSA resides within the Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team and enables Google’s Business Organization (GBO) to drive customer success.

As Head of Workflow Strategy and Activation in the Global Sales Activation organization, you will lead a team to unlock the full value of sales workflows. You will propose creative data-driven approaches to drive sales and operations excellence and will also collaborate with other leaders in GSA and various business lines to influence senior executive decision-making.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$314,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Set ideas and strategy for the Workflow Strategy and Activation team.
  • Deliver business impact for Google by setting, communicating, and achieving team priorities that support organizational goals
  • Develop cross-functional partnerships with other go-to-market teams, and product and engineering teams.
  • Set expectations, provide feedback and coaching, and invest development in team members.
