Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in advertising technology, business development, partnerships, management consulting in the Ads, Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Adtech, online advertising, agency management, or business development.
- Experience with online advertising or ad solutions (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Ad Exchange, AdSense, AdMob).
- Ability to lead multiple projects with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders simultaneously. Understanding of digital trends (e.g., mobile, video) and ad networks/yield management practices.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and work independently with minimal guidance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and to understand technical product details, develop data-driven recommendations, and create plans. Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.

Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
As a Strategic Partner Manager, you will be a driving in maximizing the advertising business of a portfolio of our Web and Search partners (spanning News, Information, Search and Commerce). You will be a thinker and a proactive executor, collaborating closely with various Google product teams to identify, prioritize, and implement winning strategies for your partners.
You will leverage your abilities to conquer challenges, build rapport with executive and leadership teams both internally and externally, and solutions. You will be instrumental in building goals with partners and industry players.
You will directly engage with our publishing and eCommerce partners, developing and executing bespoke strategies for their online content.
You will be empowered to develop and deliver creative, industry-leading online advertising solutions for publishers and developers.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain and evolve relationships with our partnerships through close collaboration at all levels on a daily basis and serve as their product expert and trusted advisor with a focus on driving ad business and partner satisfaction; manage and maximize business growth.
- Evaluate and prioritize opportunities from a financial and operational point of view while translating data into strategies for partners.
- Forecast and report business growth and other metrics, including tracking actual progress toward forecasts.
- Collaborate and work with internal stakeholders, including the executive leadership team.
