Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in cloud computing concepts like designing fault-tolerant, and secure cloud architectures.
  • Experience within the startup or customer segment startup life-cycles.
  • Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders and presenting to audiences (e.g., Chief Technical Officers (CTOs) or Founders and developers).
  • Experience with Kubernetes or serverless technologies with building, deploying, and operating them in a cloud native environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in networking within the startup ecosystem and communities, from founders, accelerators to venture capitals (VCs).
  • Experience of emerging industries in the startup space (e.g., Web 3.0, ClimateTech).
  • Experience with open source technology (e.g., Cloud Native Computing Foundation projects) with the knowledge of cloud native application development or data analytics technologies.
  • Experience with deployment methodologies and technologies (e.g., Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Terraform, Argo, etc.) with platform engineering.
  • Experience in one of the following areas: Cloud security (e.g., intrusion detection, threat prevention, configuration), advanced monitoring of cloud environments or financial operations optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify business opportunities related, understand key customer objections, and develop the strategy to achieve a technical win in relation to the cloud native application architecture 
  • Educate startups and scaleups on the value proposition of Google Cloud, and lead architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful adoption of GCP technology deployment in the cloud.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed business objectives through the adoption of GCP.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and partners to develop technical campaigns and drive pipeline creation and conversion.
  • Build deep relationships with executive technical individuals at customers to enable them to be cloud advocates. Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
