Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in an enterprise business-to-business software company.
- Experience with enterprise business-cycles, channel strategy, and sales finance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience leading business programs and managing commercial business policies.
- Experience with compliance issues concerning contractual agreements, competition laws, anti-corruption, and data governance.
- Experience reviewing, writing, or interpreting legal or policy documentation.
- Experience driving program management and accountability with executive leadership and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Ability to manage confidential matters and work cross-functionally.
About the job
The Google Cloud Deal Governance and Compliance Specialist supports Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Deal Pursuit Office leadership by developing and executing agreements and customer relationships. In this role, you will be overseeing and supporting the agreement execution process, managing compliance programs and issues, and improving customer and employee experiences. You will ensure compliance with commercial regulations and contract development policies, contributing to organizational operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Deal Governance and Compliance Manager to establish and maintain deal governance and compliance policies.
- Oversee programs that support commitments and redlining related to contractual/commercials terms.
- Track compliance activities and investigate issues to ensure operational efficiency.
- Gather and analyze compliance data, using audit rights and assisting with the creation of reports for executive management.
- Work with cross-functional teams Sales, Registration Affairs, Strategic Operations, Legal to guide feature development within the bounds of partnership agreements.
