Senior Global Business Solutions Consultant, Apps, International Growth

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts/Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience working with clients including apps (gaming and non-gaming) in a sales, Go-to-market, or other client facing capacity (e.g., advertising, account management, consulting, etc.)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, or an advanced professional degree.
  • Experience with international or multinational digital advertising or marketing campaigns, preferably in a client-facing consulting or advisory background.
  • Experience of thought leadership in applying data driven models that have had a tangible impact on marketing operations across international markets.
  • Experience in communicating and building trusted relationships with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally, including Director and C-level stakeholders.

As a Global Business Solutions (GBS) consultant on the International Growth Team, you are an expert in the operational elements of international go-to-market strategies that are key to successful expansion. You will consult with our International Growth Consultants, Account teams, and Google Customer Solutions clients to identify the right tools and investments to facilitate growth in their non-domestic footprint. Your primary clients will be apps (gaming and non-gaming), and your primary consultation topics will be App Localization, App Store Optimization, First Open Experience, User Sentiment and In-App Conversions for specific countries and regions. You will provide insights and solutions to help them reach and exceed their international ambitions by designing and scaling this internationalization service. Global Business Solutions consultants work alongside teammates to provide a broad range of support to advertising customers as part of the Global Business Solutions Go consulting program.

In this role, you will work with advertisers, develop a deep understanding of their business needs, objectives and decision processes. Your entrepreneurial spirit, strategic selling, communication skills and problem-solving abilities allow you to identify the biggest levers for success, and present unique insights and solutions that shape the customers’ plans.

In collaboration, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify market opportunities and design and deliver solutions that drive incremental growth for Google Customer Solutions Apps clients across key elements of operational Go-to-Market (e.g., App Localization, App Store Optimization, App Reviews). 
  • Understand the complexities for hybrid App-Web clients and be able to consult on website localization best practices in addition to app experiences.
  • Understand the operational challenges businesses face in driving growth through international expansion and develop forward-thinking, data-driven export business recommendations. 
  • Develop high-level relationships to serve as a trusted consultant with major international customers to fuel their advertising growth and educate them on wider export-related topics and opportunities.
  • Partner with sellers across the International Growth team and Large Customer Sales, and other global cross-functional teams to develop and innovate thought leadership and sales narratives to deliver export growth through Apps at scale.
