Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience shipping consumer electronics products with a software service component.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
- 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
- 3 years of experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, UX/UI, Industrial Design, Operations, Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders.
- 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.

The Google Home Hardware team builds AI-first Gemini for Home hardware, software and services, ranging from smart displays, speakers, and Google TV Streamers to cameras, thermostats, and future products in our device roadmap. We’re focused on delivering the helpfulness of Gemini directly to users in the most intimate of spaces - their homes. As the Home Hardware Product Lead you will work cross-functionally to craft products from conception to launch. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to build stellar user experiences, in beautiful industrial designs with technical innovation, to deliver Google’s strategy for the home, meeting customer and business goals.
The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team
researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make
users’ homes more helpful. Our mission is the helpful home: to create a

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Guide products through the definition and execution cycle, focusing on analyzing, positioning, defining, delivering, and promoting Gemini-based hardware solutions to serve customer and channel needs.
- Drive products from conception to launch, ensuring stellar user experiences, beautiful industrial designs, and technical innovations to meet business goals.
- Develop and execute the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, engaging with distribution channels to land products with high customer satisfaction metrics.
- Lead New Technology Investigations (NTI) and longer-term roadmap ideation to establish the vision for future AI-forward devices.
