Senior Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales, Google Customer Solutions (Dutch, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch and English fluently in order to communicate in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning and objection handling.
  • Experience in leading and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics, expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in The Netherlands and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Mid-Market Sales (MMS) Account Executives are senior front-line sellers for high potential clients, focusing primarily on C- and B-level relationship building. Using their influencing skills, industry and marketing expertise, and business acumen, Account Executives help to shape and evolve client objectives and identify opportunities for future client growth. Account Executives challenge clients’ short- and long-term goals, build strategy alongside Account Strategists and client-side partners, and identify ways for Google to enhance clients’ ability to meet their business and marketing objectives.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and investigative abilities enable you to design transformative media strategies for growth based on the customer objectives. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber solution selling, partnership management and analysis to deliver successful business outcomes. Using your commercial acumen, you uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and achieve their objectives while driving incremental growth through our industry leading advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly growth and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customers growth by delivering outstanding customer experience and achieve customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish credibility with executives and be a trusted partner to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
