Analytical Lead, Sellside Exchange Platforms

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
  • 7 years of experience in SQL and Data Visualization (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar technologies).
  • Experience with measurement platforms, ad operations, exchanges, networks, DSPs, SSPs, private/programmatic deals, publisher monetization or Google's ad platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working at an SSP, DSP, Ad Network or Programmatic or Digital Media Agency in an analytical capacity.
  • Experience creating data visualizations and dashboards.
  • Experience managing and optimizing digital display, video, app and connected TV advertising campaigns for large, complex clients.
  • Skilled at generating insights from large data sets and presenting them to clients with actionable takeaways.
  • Advanced level of proficiency with complex spreadsheets/analysis and putting together presentations.

About the job

As an Exchange Platforms Analytical Lead, you will be responsible for developing marketplace intelligence that enhances the strategies of our US East Coast and EMEA-based DSP, SSP and Ad Network partners in the programmatic advertising market and helps them uncover new opportunities for growth across our ad exchange, through investment, and optimization. You will also build close relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to share and provide insights into key trends in programmatic media buying.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven sales recommendations that align with the business objectives of our DSP, SSP and Ad Network partners.
  • Quantify high impact opportunities with clear implementation recommendations and pitch to DSP, SSP and Ad Network partners when applicable.
  • Partner with exchange sales and product teams to develop and test tools, templates, and frameworks to streamline and scale DSP, SSP and Ad Network customer analyses.
  • Collaborate with the team to educate and train DSP, SSP and Ad Network partners on how to best architect and optimize exchange campaigns and achieve maximum scale and performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams internally to inform our business and product strategy, evaluate opportunities and solve problems for our Authorized Buyers, Open Bidding, and SDK Bidding segments with business intelligence.
