Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a Deal desk, Legal, Contracting, or Sales Operations role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing agreement structures and communicating them clearly to influence internal and external stakeholders up through executive leadership.
  • Experience supporting a goal carrying, enterprise selling organization in the cloud, software, consulting or technology space.
  • Experience in project management or transactional problem solving.
  • Ability to lead and take on multiple time-sensitive projects at one time.

About the job

The Deal Pursuit Organization (DPO), drives Google Cloud's growth by strategically structuring agreements, enabling internal and external customer success, and ensuring efficient commercial execution.

As part of the Deal Pursuit Organization (DPO), you will be responsible for supporting the Sales team by providing primary agreements execution support to a rapidly growing sales organization within Google Cloud. You will be responsible for managing quote-to-cash agreements execution across Google Cloud’s robust Google Cloud Platform (GCP) portfolio, including pricing, quoting and customer contract. You will partner closely with legal resources and Sales teams to structure contractual agreements and handle non-standard term approvals for strategic agreements globally. You will also help with sales on-boarding and enablement and with the design of various process improvements, including delivering requirement and maintaining accountability for all Deal Pursuit functionality.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic business partner to Google Sales and Business Operations, accelerating agreement closure timelines while mitigating commercial and contractual risk.
  • Manage the team responsible for ensuring all agreements are finalized with the appropriate information to book inbound business, including ensuring approvals for non-standard agreements have been properly documented, raised to the right approval levels, and resolved within reasonable time frames.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance and Legal to ensure processes are designed to be compliant for all global service-level agreements (SLAs) and policies.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation regarding internal and external facing quote-to-cash processes and policies.
  • Work collaboratively across different functions to understand agreement requirements, structures, business terms, and identify potential risks or opportunities that can affect performance, growth, and strategic positioning.
