Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- 2 years of experience with regulations like General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and country specific data regionalization requirements of storing data in a local environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or a business related field.
- 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
- 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
- 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
- Understanding Generative AI and AI/ML technologies.
- Understanding of regulations like the EU AI Act, or ISO standards shape specific geographic markets and industries.

Google Workspace's Digital Sovereignty team is looking for an experienced product manager to lead its Data Export Platform product. The product manager will be responsible for expanding the platform's capabilities to include advanced data export, custom large language model management, and enterprise backup and restore solutions. The applicant will have an understanding of regional data export needs, be able to shape Google's compliance leadership position, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the product manager will drive a go-to-market plan, engage with customers and regulators, and brainstorm new features to address evolving business challenges.

Responsibilities
- Develop a new product capability to build and feed, and manage custom large language models with a zero code approach, leveraging Workspace data. Allow customers to easily unlock their unstructured data for Generative AI purposes and democratize access to sophisticated technologies.
- Create an enterprise back up and restore solution that gives customers the ability to address critical data stewardship issues for business and compliance reasons and become an expert in regional and country specific data management needs, understanding how new regulations like the EU AI Act, or ISO standards shape specific geographic markets and industries.
- Deliver a go-to-market plan, speaking with customers and regulators.
- Interact with our largest customers in industries to brainstorm on industry solutions that address pressing business challenges for our customers and leverage our position as a leader in Generative Artificial Intelligence.
