Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience working in digital or offline brand advertising.
- Ability to communicate in German and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience running incrementality studies on Google Ads or similar A/B tests, conversion lift studies.
- Experience working in a consultative capacity to synthesize customer actions and recommendations.
- Experience with the local market ad measurement eco-system with excellent customer-facing, consultative, and communication expertise.
- Knowledge of ad effectiveness and brand measurement ecosystems, with experience in any one area of business effectiveness, brand health/tracking or audience measurement.
About the job
As a Marketing Effectiveness Specialist, you will be responsible for helping advertisers scale their use of Google measurement solutions at the intersection of marketing mix models (MMM), incrementality and attribution, and actioning on the insights produced.
You have excellent knowledge of incrementality tests, conversion lift studies and similar experiments, combining domain knowledge with understanding of Google products. You can employ this to help measure and understand the value of marketing investments overall, and with Google specifically.
You will utilize your understanding of industry practices, digital media trends, problem solving abilities and your persuasive influencing skills to influence advertisers to take the necessary actions to properly determine brand, media customer value, and channel impact.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Responsibilities
- Consult Google’s largest customers on their Media Effectiveness tools, with a special focus on user-based and geo-based incrementality studies.
- Ensure up-to-date interactions between attribution, media-mix-models and incrementality studies for Google's customers.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of measurement solutions and convince advertiser stakeholders to apply learnings, insights, and recommended actions, especially on budget decisions.
- Uncover measurement-related challenges, and develop bespoke solutions across stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Support relationships with third-party measurement vendors and agencies in coordination with our Sales teams and advertisers.
