Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in technical program or project management in a software engineering or cloud environment.
- Experience with Sheets, Looker, SQL, and Python for data extraction, modeling, visualization, and automation.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in technical program management in AI or data-centric projects.
- Track record in technical roles with product management and engineering.
- Knowledge of market trends, products, and solutions (including foundational technical understanding) of Cloud, AI, and data solutions.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship building, collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, project management and problem-solving skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

We are looking for someone who join our compute team in GenAI this is to primarily help coordinate the GenAI serving process, while also supporting the compute needs for Gemini training with the rest of our team. On the serving side, you will work directly with teams on their requests and also improve/automating these workflows for the future. Your technical infrastructure expertise, a can-do mindset, and strong skills to resolve bottlenecks and align cross-functional teams on high-priority milestones.

Responsibilities
- Grasp of the infrastructure stack to debug hardware and software issues, adjust technical configurations, and advise teams on how to best govern their compute allocations.
- Request and coordinating launches, guiding and managing expectations with teams through the milestones required to receive approvals.
- Use data sources are discovered, write extensive documentation to help scale impact across teams long-term and help create a single source of truth.
- Identify bottlenecks in the launch workflow and assist in developing internal tooling (e.g., dashboards, scripts, agents) to streamline work.
- Use data, logic, and concise communication to bring clarity to complex discussions with cross-functional teams.
