Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 years of experience in curriculum development and building, designing, and activating training programs for leaders and managers in customer-facing organizations
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and business leadership stakeholders
  • Experience with instructional design principles and processes

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building sales curriculum for different sales roles in order to target skill gaps/opportunities
  • Experience in project management and strategic planning
  • Experience conducting user needs analysis, and taking action on insights to drive performance improvement and measure impact
  • Familiarity with the Ads sales business and experience working with various related stakeholder groups
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills with ability to effectively work across different time zones and cultures
  • Expertise in creating and designing learning programs for a sales audience

The Mastery team delivers measurable business results at scale by creating revolutionary learning experiences that prepare Google and it’s partners for the future.

As a Mastery Global Learning Specialist, you will lead the design and development of learning experiences for managers in Google’s Global Business Organization to support their growth, effectiveness, and development.

You will be responsible for understanding the needs of Google’s Global Business Organization (GBO) learners, working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to align to business priorities, and ultimately, crafting learning experiences that enable individual growth, while driving business impact.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Influence teams and stakeholders to align learning design resources and direction. Provide sound instructional design guidance while balancing business and learner needs.
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to design and develop programs that align with business objectives and product requirements while addressing the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Act as a thought leader and learning theory expert across Mastery teams and influence stakeholder groups.
  • Drive the identification, assessment and development of competencies through needs analysis, stakeholder and project management, learning design and learning experience development. 
  • Guide the integration of multiple collaborations so that curriculum development and instruction design align with Mastery’s standards and Google’s business objectives.
