Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in advertising technology, business development, partnerships, management consulting in the Ads, Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with online advertising or ad business generation solutions (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Ad Exchange, AdSense, AdMob).
- Experience in Adtech, online advertising, agency management, or business development.
- Understanding of key digital trends (e.g., mobile, video) and ad networks/yield management practices.
- Ability to lead multiple projects with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders simultaneously.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and work separately with minimal guidance.
- Excellent investigative, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to grasp complex technical product details, develop data-driven recommendations and actionable plans.

As a Strategic Partner Manager, you will maximize the advertising business of a portfolio of our key Web and Search partners (spanning News, Information, Search and Commerce). You will be a strategic thinker and a proactive executor, collaborating closely with various Google product teams to identify, prioritize, and implement winning strategies for your partners. You will leverage your exceptional investigative abilities to conquer complex challenges, build rapport with executive and leadership teams both internally and externally, and advocate innovative solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping long-term goals with partners and influential industry players. You will directly engage with our largest and most strategic publishing and eCommerce partners, developing and executing bespoke business generation strategies for their online content. Additionally, you will be empowered to develop and deliver creative, industry-leading online advertising solutions for publishers and developers, constantly seeking out untapped potential.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain and evolve strong relationships with our most strategic partnerships through close collaboration at all levels of seniority on a daily basis and serve as their product expert and trusted advisor with a focus on driving ad revenue and partner satisfaction; manage and maximize business growth.
- Evaluate and prioritize opportunities from a strategic, financial and operational point of view while translating data into actionable strategies for partners.
- Forecast and report business growth and other key metrics, including tracking actual progress toward forecasts.
- Collaborate and work with internal stakeholders, including the executive leadership team.
