Top Partner Manager, South East Asia, Global Partnerships

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience influencing across different functions/levels in a cross-functional environment and working with partner C-suite.
  • Experience with AI technology and use cases with partners.
  • Experience working across all levels (e.g., executives, managers, peers).
  • Ability to work within a large matrixed organization to drive alignment and key deliverables, and to inspire trust and influence outcomes.
  • Ability to take initiative, along with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, organization and project management skills.

About the job

In this role, you will develop plans and motivate cross-functional teams towards new opportunities by accelerating business and driving initiatives, for example through partner strategy alignment, cross-functional joint business plans and key industry initiatives and programs. You will engage with partner and Google ecosystems and stakeholders to understand their customer needs and bring the best of Google to solve partner challenges. You will also enable front line teams by providing internal cross-functional Governance and guidance. You will work with the top partners in the South East Asia region and help execute a partner-centric, One Google strategy.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key partner executives, understand the mission and their goals and align all of Google relevant functions against their most pressing objectives.
  • Work across Product Areas in a cross-functional environment to build a unified One-Google strategy for partners. Strengthen C-suite engagement and identify plays for business opportunities.
  • Deliver thought-leadership and drive specific partner initiatives. Enable internal teams to develop tailored client solutions and provide context and insights.
  • Facilitate and coordinate Sales and Business Development teams, ensuring internal transparency, cohesion, and objectives. Serve as the central internal point-of-contact for all partner engagement.
  • Collaborate with and influence executive product leaders to advocate for services that accelerate partners’ objectives and growth in the region. Drive Google’s APAC ecosystem efforts through industry events and campaigns.
