Minimum qualifications:

- Experience with project management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder influence.
- Experience in an applied research setting.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in complex, dynamic, ambiguous environments with cross-functional product development teams.
- Experience working with partners, including C-suite leaders and policy makers, or communicating to external audiences.
- Experience in medical speciality.
- Ability to work within your ecosystem in successfully bringing health technology to the front line.
About the job
As a Clinical Scientist, you will be an effective and influential contributor to our work by developing and supporting research programs in the 'AI for health' space. You will utilize not only your clinical expertise and knowledge of the research development life cycle including moving from research into product but also your excellent listening, communication, and leadership skills to appropriately shape the content, design, evaluation and scaled implementation of research programs.
In this role, you will work with health AI research and development and also cross-functionally with non-clinical teams including Engineering, Product Management, UX/UXR, Legal and Regulatory Affairs. You will work as a healthcare professional in your field with recognized expertise in a focused area of clinical care. You will use your experience with generative AI research and tools.

Responsibilities
- Use your AI and research expertise to provide strategic clinical leadership to teams across Google, contributing both to overarching strategic direction as well as to individual product and research roadmaps.
- Use clinical and domain expertise to provide clinical leadership, guidance, insights and direction on Google’s health-focused AI research projects, working in a deeply embedded model with Research, Engineering, UX/UXR, Product, and Partnerships teams.
- Identify relevant clinical guidelines, evidence-based practices, and use cases related to the development and evaluation of AI models and use these to influence research and product development.
- Respond to the needs of the business and projects prioritizing effort effectively. Work in a portfolio environment to bring your expertise to a range of endeavors.
