Customer and Partner Solution Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical or client-facing role such as Technical Account Management, Solutions Consulting, Business Engineering, or Technical Project Management.
  • Experience with data analysis and querying using SQL.
  • Experience with web technologies (e.g., HTTP, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), XML, JSON) and troubleshooting technical integrations.
  • Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation and data analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in scaling operations through process automation, third-party vendor management, or the application of new technologies (e.g., leveraging APIs, LLMs).
  • Ability to provide quality experience to the users globally.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to work separately, navigate ambiguity, and drive projects to completion.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver quality user experiences.

gTech’s Professional Services team takes a creative, collaborative, and customer-centric approach to provide foundational services and forward-looking business solutions to top advertiser and publisher customers. Through technical implementation, optimization, and key solutions, gTech Professional Services helps customers attain their business goals while building long-term capabilities.

In this role, you will be ensuring the data that powers the products is accurate, and reliable. You will be an owner of data quality, responsible for identifying issues, diagnosing their root causes, and driving them to resolution. You will think beyond manual fixes and build solutions. You will focus on Google Flights, where you will become a domain expert. You will be solving technical puzzles, building relationships, and collaborating in product strategy through data-motivated insights.

Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations into pricing and data quality issues for Google Flights and other products. Use your investigative skills to analyze datasets, configure data feeds, and identify root causes.
  • Own data quality resolution by designing and implementing solutions, including automation, Large Language Models (LLMs), and vendor management.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for partners (e.g., travel agencies, airlines etc).
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence product roadmaps and ensure platform scalability.
  • Document the best practices and solutions developed for Flights. Lead the effort to apply these learnings to improve data quality and partner integrations across Real World Journey verticals.
