Performance Specialist, Large Customer Sales (English, Japanese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, consulting, or product marketing.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and cross-border teams.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese fluently in order to communicate and partner with local clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in sales.
  • Experience with Search or working with performance advertisers.
  • Understanding of industry issues.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers using consultative business skills and building client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze advertiser performance data through tools such as Google Ads and Analytics.
  • Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

As a Performance Specialist within our Large Customer Sales (LCS) team, you will be supporting and working with customers in Japan with advertising and digital transformation on Search and other performance campaigns. In this role, you will serve as an expert in performance solutions and products (e.g. Search and Pmax), and help to grow business from key accounts in all verticals. You will provide recommendations to customers and the Sales team, and work as a subject matter expert on performance solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the adoption of go-to-market strategies and performance solutions to help expand our business with existing customers.
  • Maintain accountability to business growth and product adoption goals.
  • Plan and execute all initiatives and programs for the sales team, working with marketing, GTM, and global product team.
  • Connect products/features with appropriate sales teams and customers and ensure customer feedback is incorporated to global teams.
