Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience working in the public sector or regulated industries.
- Experience in Government, cybersecurity, public safety and Intelligence sectors.
- Experience in business development roles, managing multiple, evolving projects in parallel.
- Experience in building scalable partner ecosystems with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and technology partners.
- Experience partnering across a global organization and aligning multiple cross-functional executive stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in technology, technology innovation, product management, and management consulting.
- Experience in enabling and driving change within large, complex organizations.
- Experience in driving business transformation underpinned by exceptional value promoting capabilities.
- Experience in leading large and complex processes.
- Understanding of core principles of Information Technology and Cloud Computing.
- Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

In this role, you will lead Google cloud platform business across APAC public sector for public safety, cybersecurity and intelligence. You will be a recognized leader in one or more of these sectors and will build a technology business within regulated sectors across multiple countries. You will have experience working at the intersection of Industry, Technology, and Business development. You will have led key projects that are recognized as market leading within these sectors. You will possess a passion for change powered by digitization that inspires those around them. You will lead a multicultural, matrixed environment, and understand the key drivers of digital transformation within each of these sectors. You will be able to clearly map areas of technology driven innovation to specific needs or challenges in the sectors. You will need to explain all these to executive business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to identify, generate, and nurture new business opportunities, and influence policymakers in Government, Defense, Police, and Intelligence.
- Operate as a leader and influence in the sectors like Google Cloud. Coach, guide, and support Business teams to generate and close new opportunities.
- Work with the Google Cloud leadership team at regional level to shape the strategy, build the local organization and drive execution. Engage with Google Cloud partner organization to identify and recruit target ISV and System Integrator (SI) partners for these sectors and drive aligned execution.
- Understand aspects of the regulatory environment across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) including the evolving regulation on privacy, security, sovereignty as well as the rules and mechanisms for public sector procurement. Provide insight from customers and partners to influence the strategy.
