Senior Cloud Security Consultant, Google Cloud Professional Services

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in project management and delivering technical solutions.
  • Experience with security concepts in Google Cloud.
  • Experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in security governance, security risk management, security operations, security architecture, or cyber incident response programs for cloud.
  • Experience working with cloud architecture across a broad set of enterprise use cases and creating solution architectures.
  • Experience in leading delivery programs and managing executive relationships.
  • Experience with industry compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27017/27018, GDPR, SOC).
  • Ability to navigate the intricacies of security delivery/consulting in organizations with varied styles of working.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, articulating, and influencing skills.

As an Executive Cloud Security Consultant, you will be responsible for strategic delivery helping our customers securely adopt Google Cloud. You will span operational, tactical, and strategic levels, as well as tasks with difficult problems that businesses are facing when building out and improve their security posture on Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the structuring, planning, and execution of critical security-related engagements with Google Cloud customers.
  • Provide domain expertise in Google Cloud computing security and act as a trusted advisor to customers.
  • Guide on building or maturing cloud security programs and the implementation of tools and approaches used for improving cloud security.
  • Influence the Google Cloud technology roadmap by taking customer and partner feedback to our product engineering teams.
  • Travel up to 40% of the time in-region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities, as needed.
