Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in process improvement or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience in the business technology market as a program manager in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), cloud computing, or emerging technologies
  • Experience with cross-functional engineering, sales, and marketing teams in cloud computing or related fields.
  • Ability to manage expectations, needs, and priorities of executive internal stakeholders based on the overall goal and program success.
  • Ability to work effectively on a product, team, or process.

Google Cloud teams work with schools, companies, and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile and collaborative. You will oversee all aspects of the Google Cloud sales process, improving it with your insightful data analysis, troubleshooting, and seamless cross-functional teamwork. Your strategies ensure that companies new to Google products get the highest quality customer support and that the Google Cloud program overall is kept on the cutting edge.

The Google Cloud Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations team acts as trusted advisors, partnering with Sales, Customer Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Partners and Google Cloud Consulting to plan, strategize, and run the business in a transformational way.

In this role, you will be focused on prioritizing, designing, and executing strategic programs for all Go-To-Market Sales teams that help drive the global priorities. This entails managing programs that span across Google Cloud Platform product and solution areas, industry and technical competency building, and the standardized operational rhythm of business.

The Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations organization partners with our Google Cloud Sales organization to develop Go-to-Market strategies, providing business critical insights using analytics, ensuring cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helping teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. Our team of creative visionaries thrives in deconstructing and re-creating businesses to meet changing strategic and operational needs, enable, incubate and scale innovation, establish more efficient practices, align functions and stakeholders to help the company continue to achieve its vast potential.

Responsibilities

  • Scale the work of the Google Cloud GTM teams by creating, defining, running, and reporting on global cross-functional programs according to business needs.
  • Measure and report on key metrics to identify any need to change course, cancel, or scale the program’s effectiveness globally.
  • Communicate status and identify any obstacles and paths for resolution to stakeholders, including executive leaders, in a transparent, regular, professional, and timely manner.
  • Establish expectations and rationale on deliverables for stakeholders and contributors.
  • Provide program performance feedback to enable efficient cross-functional operations and iterate on the program effectively, rapidly, and at scale.
