Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience working with security intelligence processes and procedures.
- 2 years of experience supporting projects related to threats, vulnerabilities, or risks to the company.
Preferred qualifications:
- 4 years of experience leading security intelligence and risk mitigation strategies.
- 2 years of experience analyzing, interpreting, and solutioning using data as it relates to intelligence and risk, solving problems impacting threats, vulnerabilities, or risks to the company.

As a Global Threat Analyst, you will keep Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act as the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. You will develop a culture where safety, security, and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate, and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders with the information they need to make critical decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$146,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Drive excellence across a scaled threat assessment program through the development and implementation of processes focused on efficiently and precisely delivering high-quality risk assessments.
- Lead analytic insights on high-priority physical security incidents affecting Alphabet's facilities, operations, and personnel around the globe.
- Evaluate and disseminate accurate and timely global intelligence to support action plans based on impact, credibility, and likelihood.
- Use publicly available sources/open-source intelligence (OSINT) to research and evaluate risk, based on potential threats or concerns to people, property, and ideas.
- Author analytic assessments about potential operational and risks or concerns to Alphabet and disseminate to appropriate stakeholders. Coordinate with security counterparts to make risk-based recommendations about posture and resource allocation.
