- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
- 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in PMP.
- Experience with industry standards in relation to learning management and training.
- Experience with budgetary and finance.
- Experience in operations, process improvement and automation soft skills.
- Knowledge of learning management systems and spreadsheets.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
The Mastery Team develops and delivers product and skills training to Google sales and services teams, as well as external client and agency partners. We use our knowledge of learning best practices and Google’s business priorities to build effective learning experiences for our key audiences. Our team is made up of learning professionals, sales and marketing leaders, and former consultants and analysts who launch and iterate learning programs while balancing key pillars of knowledge.
The Business Operations team is responsible for supporting the growth and transformation of the Mastery organization through analysis, insights, skills architecture, strategy and execution.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading, launching, and landing the work streams and deliverables within Mastery's long-term strategy to drive a skill, knowledge, and practice-based culture across Global Business Operations. You will create comprehensive action/project plans and roadmaps for specific project work streams aligned to delivering Mastery's long term strategy. You will perform various project management duties such as scheduling and leading of meetings, ongoing stakeholder support and leadership reviews. This will include working with partners to ensure deliverables are met consistently on time.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Responsibilities
- Provide project management in collaboration with Mastery’s Project Management Organization (PMO) for specific workstreams that support Mastery's long term goals.
- Manage key forums to drive forward long-term strategy work, including facilitation, agenda, notes, and key takeaways.
- Develop and manage project plans, milestones, risks/dependencies, and decision logs. Work cross-functionally with Mastery stakeholders (managers and ICs) to ensure deliverables are on track, high quality, and completed on time.
- Own project reporting, including project status updates for workstreams and Mastery leadership.
