Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience with iOS application development.
- Experience in programming with Objective-C or Swift.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering to build features on Android and iOS that introduce new frameworks and reusable components.
- Work on making the YouTube app experience modern and unified across all mobile screen types, from phone, to tablet and beyond.
- Promote maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high-quality work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners. Work with partner teams to build alignment around the evolving UI frameworks, processes, and tools, and ensure that they meet product developer needs.
- Deliver adoption of cross platform frameworks, tooling, and reusable components across product teams at YouTube.
