Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.
Cloud Run is one of the google cloud projects. Cloud Run allows to develop and deploy highly scalable applications on a fully managed serverless platform. Cloud Run UI plays a critical role in those products, providing an enhanced developer experience, abstracting away the infrastructure management, and cross-product integrations. We're a full stack engineering team owning UI product development for Cloud Run. We focus on user experience and product excellence. Closely cooperating with our partners UX designers, Product Managers and adjacent back-end teams. We form a center of excellence of UI engineering, developed in both Angular and Java.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct leadership to the organisation of engineers, which builds a web application for external customers.
- Work with Customers, Product Managers, UX researchers and UX designers to understand customers' needs and translate them into technical designs and product goals.
- Help to scale the infrastructure team through introduction of proper processes and practices.
- Manage software engineers, including their career development and performance management, and work on maintaining an open and inclusive culture of the Cloud Console team.
