Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting or investment banking in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs), Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience in managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience with working in a changing and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with partners.
  • Excellent communication and collaborating skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Mobile and Reach team builds and maintains partnerships with some of YouTube's partners (e.g., Samsung, Meta, Xiaomi, Reddit, Discord) to ensure YouTube is readily available across surfaces and platforms. The team is focused on meeting users where they are motivating ubiquitous distribution.

In this role, you will identify and execute partnerships to defend or grow YouTube's evolving business. You will identify gaps to close, quantify the opportunity size, build integrations or partnerships, influence product roadmaps and present and track outcomes and lessons learned to leads and cross-functional peers.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and evolve external relationships with partners and across the ecosystem, and manage partnerships with entities of all sizes.
  • Develop cross-product area partner initiatives and build go-to-market strategies to meet Google goals across changing industries.
  • Ideate and motivate agreements with potential partners and renewals/expansions for existing partners and build consensus with internal and external executives.
  • Serve as the relationship manager for our current existing agreements. Help realize and optimize value from these partnerships while building relationships.
  • Engage with several internal cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to incubate, launch, improve, and scale new features and user experiences across markets and functional areas.
