Analytical Consultant, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • Experience in data analyses and visualization (Sheets and Slides), scripting (SQL) and Dashboard development (Looker Studio).
  • Experience in translating data into business recommendations, creating and delivering appealing insights-based presentations or business cases with clear recommendations and aligned with customers objectives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working as an Analytical Consultant or in a similar investigative, data-focused role.
  • Experience in advertising from either the advertiser, agency or other media owner side.
  • Ability to communicate in German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders (internally and externally) across all levels.

About the job

As an Analytical Consultant (AC), you will work with top clients across various industries to optimize their online advertising strategies and help them achieve their business objectives.

In your role, you will be the point of contact for large customers on anything around data in the form of analysis and strategic insights and you will be a consultant to the sales teams helping them drive Google’s business. You will dive deep into data to uncover hidden opportunities and commercial insights for customers, analyze their market coverage, Google auction performance, optimize their profitability and branding investments and align their efforts with target audiences.

You will share these insights as a trusted consultant with the customers as well as to sales teams internally. To scale your impact, you will help identify solutions and analysis that other customers and teams would benefit from and work together with a cross-functional team to scale and automate them. You promote data fluency by sharing insightful dashboards to visualize key metrics that support their business objectives as well as educating clients and partners on Google's tools. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to act as a data analyst, strategic advisor, and consultant, ultimately driving commercial value for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive bespoke analyses for high-priority customers to uncover hidden opportunities to optimize their online advertising ROI.
  • Consult with clients as a strategic consultant, clearly presenting data-driven insights and recommendations that align with their business goals.
  • Streamline processes by developing scalable templates, dashboards and scripts (together with gCare Insights). Develop compelling narratives to deliver insights at scale for a wider customer base. 
  • Empower clients and partners by creating internal dashboards and reports to democratize insights and by delivering training and guiding on using Google's data tools.
  • Work seamlessly with various teams and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes for clients (e.g. measurement and incrementality specialists).
