Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- 1 year of experience with Android application development
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 1 year of experience with Kotlin
- Experience building user-facing applications and services.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with geographically distributed teams.

In this role, you will deliver on Wear OS the health and fitness experiences in the smartwatch market through integrated Android application package (APK) that sustain high usage of Fitbit apps on wearables, and promote Fitbit premium attach rate, and motivate the purchase of future Pixel devices.

Responsibilities
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback, triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, create user interfaces, collaborating with the UI/UX designers.
- Write product or system development code, participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
- Develop user-facing applications for wearable devices, comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
