Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in selling SaaS Solutions.
  • 2 years of experience managing and leading a team.
  • Experience with marketing or sales support in developing product, solution messaging, narratives, and value propositions.

  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment with effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated track record in reaching and exceeding business goals in the technology industry with SaaS products.

As a Google Workspace Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the acquisition and growth of new and existing customers for Google Workspace India. You will have an entrepreneurial approach to overcoming challenges to build the business, by prioritization and optimization of your team’s time. You will positively impact business metrics including logo acquisition, customer retention, business growth, programmatic scale acquisition, and leveraging partners. In this role, you will be managing a team focused on acquiring and retaining customers. You'll form part of the Google Workspace APAC leadership team and sub-regional extended Google Cloud leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and forecast quarterly goals, customer acquisition goals, and customer retention goals.
  • Hire, coach, and drive a high performance team to deliver against assigned acquisition and growth goals while prioritizing an outstanding customer experience.
  • Contribute to territory strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities. Work with Field Sales Managers, Partner Sales Managers, Customer Engineering, and Google Partners to maximize business results and open opportunities with enterprise customers.
  • Explore and understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level.
  • Manage a team across greenfield acquisition and existing accounts.
