Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in account management, sales, and marketing in the digital/media/advertising industry.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the Technology/Automotive industry or client or agency.
- Ability to complete work with attention to detail.
- Ability to deliver results under pressure and show dedication to client services.
- Excellent leadership, organization, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

As the Account Manager, you will develop and manage relationships with top advertisers in Japan. You will be an advisor and consultant, as well as an advocate for clients within Google. You will grow existing business, develop and obtain new business, and support your team with account and market knowledge and other collateral.
You will grow clients' business base and identify client transformational opportunities that allow Google to engage new business. You will establish and grow our relationship with the client's management and create transformational goals for each customer, follow up on client feedback and adjust the plan accordingly. You will analyze data, trends, and client performance, develop plans, and prepare and conduct pitches and presentations. You will also contribute to the growth and direction of Google’s products and services.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers by identifying and solving client problems.
- Build relationships with leading clients, media and creative agencies.
- Analyze data trends and client performance, and develop client account plans.
- Learn and work with Google product experts to develop and deliver solutions, optimize campaign results, identify opportunities to increase advertiser investments.
- Work cross-functionally within Google and collaborate on projects to drive client success.
