Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in product marketing, product management, sales enablement, sales, or equivalent experience with enterprise software technology.
  • Experience writing and developing Go-To-Market (GTM) content targeting technical or non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working within the startup, venture capital, or private equity ecosystem.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a role that requires communication with US and Canada based partners in English.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to translate complex AI and cloud infrastructure narratives into compelling messaging that resonates with founders and investors.
  • Ability to leverage AI to enable faster and more effective content generation.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and partner with global cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to create new processes and prioritization models.
  • Track record of influencing and managing relationships with senior executive stakeholders and sales leadership.

The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers and software infrastructure. The Cloud Marketing team is looking for people who can help us write and tell the story of our customer's journey. Understanding the power of our products and how they impact businesses, you will help share how we provide our customers with the best solutions for innovation. In this role, you will build Google Cloud’s startup sales narrative from the ground up, shaping how we pitch our most advanced AI and cloud technology to the world’s fastest-growing ‘Unicorns.’ Your mission will be to translate complex cloud and AI concepts into compelling narratives and customer-facing sales assets that resonate with startup founders and the investors who back them. In this role, you will report to the Head of Segment Content and with no existing template, you will have the mandate to create one, make your work central to shaping our market perception, and drive business effectiveness across the entire startup ecosystem.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Architect core segment narratives, establishing the foundational pitch and clear competitive differentiators for key sales plays to drive market impact.
  • Synthesize complex technical product details into high-impact, high-velocity narratives and develop a comprehensive suite of premium GTM materials, including business and technical pitch decks and one-pagers. 
  • Partner strategically with startup sales leadership and enablement teams to scale content delivery and drive adoption across global seller communities.
  • Track content performance, iterating on narratives and assets to measurably increase deal velocity.
  • Influence global product positioning and messaging as a strategic advisor to product and marketing teams, advocating for critical field and customer feedback.
