Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience with programming in Java/Python, Web Services (e.g., RESTful, SOAP), and CI/CD build tools.
- Experience in designing distributed systems with scalable and microservice-based architecture.
- Expertise in data modeling.
- Experience in architecting and integration of internal and third-party applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical field.
- Experience with cross-functional, cross-team, or cross-geography projects.
- Proven ability to be successful in a complex Engineering environment, planning and managing at both the strategic and operational level - organized, detail-oriented, strategically focused.
- Ability to anticipate/prevent technical and organizational obstacles, as well as effectively react and address them after they arise.
- Excellent business partnering skills including the ability to build senior level relationships, trust, and get things done across functional boundaries.

Responsibilities
- Write clear, modular, well-structured and self-sustaining codes, develop overall systems design and research, evaluate vendor supplied applications, and develop recommendations on those applications.
- Implement and support highly scalable integrations between internal/external systems. Design and implement solutions to optimize performance of both first-party and third-party platforms.
- Build internal solutions, with custom front-end and back-end services with minimal assistance, and identify processes and solutions to ensure controls compliance can be enforced and monitored.
- Partner closely with leadership to develop, deploy, and deliver on a prioritized investment strategy in the area of driving operational excellence and reduce manual reliance.
- Conduct and oversee testing of application modules to ensure application meets specifications, and collaborate with analysts and business process owners within one or more teams to help translate business requirements into technical solutions.
