External Communications Manager (English, Polish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Polish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in communications, PR or public affairs, including managing media relations and working with commentators or influencers.
  • Experience in content production.
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders, and ability to influence and build effective relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, manage, and execute multiple communications/PR projects simultaneously, with short deadlines, and to maintain excellent acumen in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to think strategically and learn quickly.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to tailor messages to the right audiences.

About the job

As a member of the Global Communications and Public Affairs team, you will work cross-functionally to help communicate with journalists and other thought leaders. You will devise specific communications materials and campaigns, engage in meetings with commentators and other opinion formers, and develop print and web-based material supporting these campaigns.

In this role, you will design campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences, from content creators to key opinion formers, and develop integrated campaigns that spark action and push the boundaries of our communication approach. You'll need to be creative, willing to try new things and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously, as well as enjoy pitching to journalists, bloggers and commentators.

To succeed here, you'll combine creativity with organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously, as well as enjoy pitching to journalists, bloggers and commentators, or producing internal communications and events for our employees. Responsibilities

  • Represent a business or product area, acting as a spokesperson with minimal guidance.
  • Collaborate with agencies on projects by supporting objectives, driving key tasks or work streams, and providing content.
  • Gather, synthesize, and draft responses to editorial inquiries and requests for information release.
  • Create clear, concise and differentiated communications plans and materials (e.g., emails, press releases, pitches, marketing copy, announcements, presentations articles, social media content) to publicize and promote communications and public relations programs, facilities, events, or objectives among external audiences.
  • Design presentations, communications, and visuals for marketing and communications events.
