Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, relationship management, and consultative promotion.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to interact in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in the advertising space.
  • 2 years of experience working with C-level and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working with app developers or content creators, including creating new business models in different distribution channels.
  • Experience working with product and engineering team to shape and influence new and existing features.

As a Business Development Manager for Brazil, you will drive new partnerships and enable companies to grow their businesses using our Google Ad Manager, Admob, and Adsense platforms. Leveraging industry insights, product knowledge and ads ecosystem best practices, you will create partnerships with consolidated businesses and new verticals, leading new business streams for these companies. You will provide innovative, industry-leading advertising solutions for both Web and App-based companies, identify new opportunities, and influence product roadmap and strategy internally. As the primary stakeholder for identifying regional needs, you will work towards finding common themes and areas that warrant higher investment across the region in order to onboard new partners.

We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop valuable new business partnerships with application developers and web content creators, helping grow their businesses by connecting them to Google’s products.
  • Develop a new business pipeline and sign agreements that grow our partnerships and push our business to new verticals.
  • Align with product and sales teams to deliver custom solutions for business cases.
  • Transition customers seamlessly to the appropriate long-term support team.
  • Identify business and product opportunities to expand Google’s platform and business growth, recognizing market-specific needs and influencing our product roadmaps to address these needs.
