Customer Solutions Engineer, gTech Professional Services

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience in a problem-solving role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.
  • Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix, Windows).

In this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative, cutting-edge solutions to the business problems faced by the world’s largest advertisers. You will work as a critical technical partner for our sales teams where your coding abilities, communication skills, desire to solve complex problems, passion for scale and big data, and business acumen will all be leveraged to develop answers to questions.

You will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing projects and to see the unique business issues faced by our largest advertisers. You will be given the opportunity to develop solutions and work across the entire organization and leverage your experience and skill-set to find the best solution for the issues at hand.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $94,500-$139,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical relationships with a select client portfolio.
  • Work with Sales to identify business opportunities leveraging both display and performance solutions supported by the team.
  • Collect requirements, provide guidance and best practices to apply ad products and technologies to achieve advertisers business goals.
  • Design and implement complex, cross-product customized solutions with the client.
  • Oversee end-to-end implementations and escalations handled by other Google teams for named accounts.
