About the job

The Scaled Strategies and Programs (SS&P) team is centrally positioned within Americas Business Strategy and Operations. Our focus is on incubating, scaling, and executing sales strategies, motions, and programs to foster operational excellence, accountability, and new avenues for growth within the Americas Large Customer Sales (ALCS) business. We are responsible for core sales motions, including customer plans and pipeline management, as well as strategic sales programs such as Total Opportunity (which emphasizes ambitious pitching) and engaged selling (covering sales skills, participant knowledge, coaching, and practice). Our mission is to empower ambitious, confident sellers who unlock total opportunity by helping customers find more growth and value with Google than the participants, having mastered their craft through coaching and practice.

As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will be responsible for delivering transformational initiatives that are foundational to the success and growth of the Americas LCS team. You will partner closely with executive stakeholders as well as cross-functional partners across GTM, LCS, Finance, Marketing, etc. in order to drive scaled strategy and execution.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute ALCS's strategic priorities and guide executive decision-making on ALCS's scaled sales strategies and business-driving programs.
  • Align strategic sales strategies with day-to-day sales motions/operations and identify and pilot early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
  • Partner with global counterparts and many cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Sales, Product, Learning and Development, etc.) to scale best practices and learnings and align plans to drive optimal impact.
  • Collaborate with in-market GTM teams to scale execution and develop continuous feedback loops to enable ongoing improvements to scaled strategies and programs.
