Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a customer-facing role working with stakeholders, driving customer technical implementations, or transformation programs.
  • 6 years of experience in audit, compliance, risk, and security methodologies specifically working in medical devices

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Public or private cloud.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex topics and technical subjects to a variety of audiences.

As a Healthcare and Life Sciences Security and Compliance Specialist in the Office of the CISO, you will be a trusted advisor to top global companies, guiding them on complex security and compliance challenges. You will work closely with technical C-suite executives, CISOs, and Risk and Compliance officers to develop and implement solutions that meet the unique needs of the healthcare and life sciences industries.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Engage with customer security, risk and compliance functions to help them navigate the journey to cloud usage.
  • Contribute to the identification of cloud ­related security design/development/deployment friction points from the customers’ perspective and work with other teams to resolve them.
  • Tell the Google security and compliance innovation story and help translate it into actionable steps global companies can take towards adoption.
  • Help shape the Google Cloud security and compliance, and help support the wider community of Google Cloud security and compliance professionals.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time as required.
